Some families may choose to purchase optional extras for convenience. These sit outside the funded entitlement and are listed below for transparency.
Meal Provision

Enrichment Package​
For families who wish to add something extra to their child’s experience, we offer our Enrichment & Care Package. This package is entirely optional and provides enhanced opportunities and additional conveniences beyond the statutory EYFS provision.

Individual Costs based on 10hr day
Digital Updates Plus – £0.80
Enhanced digital communication including additional photos and extended daily updates via our secure online platform.
Alternative: Families who do not opt in will continue to receive statutory updates only, including verbal handovers, the 2-year check, and written progress summaries at key stages.
Extended Parent Meetings – £0.80
Termly face-to-face appointments offering longer meeting times and more detailed development discussions beyond statutory requirements.
Alternative: All statutory checks and standard parent meetings remain free and available to every family.
Parent Engagement Events – £0.80
Access to optional community-based and seasonal events such as celebrations, family workshops, and stay-and-play sessions not required by the EYFS.
Alternative: Curriculum-led events (e.g., reading sessions, displays of children’s work) remain free and open to all families.
Animal & Nature Experience – £0.60
Supports optional experiences including external animal visitors, wildlife workshops and special nature encounters not required as part of the EYFS provision.
Alternative: Outdoor play and nature exploration forming part of the EYFS remain free of charge for all children.
Wellbeing & Specialist Extras – £0.35
Optional access to specialist-led sessions such as yoga, mindfulness, and music & movement workshops.
Alternative: Daily movement, music and emotional development activities required by the EYFS continue to be provided for all children.
Personal Care Consumables – £0.75
Convenience option: we provide wipes, nappy sacks, creams and hygiene items. Use of nursery-provided comfort items including an individual labelled blanket, cot sheet rotation and comfort-toy wash service.
Alternative: Parents may provide their own consumables if they prefer not to opt into this part of the package.
Priority Booking & Event Access – £0.40
Priority access to booking additional sessions, holiday provision and limited-capacity nursery events
Alternative: Standard booking and event access remain available to all families.
Holiday & Event Gift Pack – £0.50
Optional seasonal keepsake items including Mother’s Day and Father’s Day crafts and a Christmas gift/keepsake.
Alternative: Families who do not opt in will not receive these additional take-home items.
Family Convenience Benefits (included in our package)
✅ Advance Notifications
Families on the package receive early notice of extra sessions, ad-hoc bookings and holiday cover, allowing more time to plan. All families can still request these sessions, subject to availability.

✅ Emergency Care Flexibility
In emergency situations, we will always try to support all families where staffing allows. Families on the package have their emergency admin fees bundled into their package.

✅ Bundled Event Access
Tickets for seasonal events, parties and workshops are included within the package.
Families who do not opt in can still attend, purchasing tickets individually on a pay-as-you-go basis.

✅ Admin & Booking Support
Package families benefit from a dedicated communication route for managing bookings and queries, offering added convenience. Standard booking and communication routes remain in place for all families.

✅ Family Welcome Extras
Families on the package receive occasional extras such as keepsakes, photo packs, or small gifts at special times of the year (e.g. Christmas, graduation, leavers).
